Plant Hangers

1.  Gather the 8 strands of string and tie a knot, leaving 3” of string at the end to create a tassel. 

2.  Tape the knot down on a hard surface like a tabletop. 

3.  Separate the string into four groups of two strings each and tie a knot in each group about an inch from the center knot and lay them out next to one another. Make sure your knots are even and tight. 

4.  Take one string from the first knot and one string from the second knot and tie them together in a knot.

5.  Take the other string from the second knot and one string from the third knot and tie them together in a knot. 

6.  Take the other string from the third knot and one string from the fourth knot and tie them together in a knot.

7.  Take the other string from the fourth knot and the other string from the first knot and tie these together in a knot. This will create a circular shape and complete this row. 

8.  Pull out any slack in the strings and make sure your knots are even and tight. 

9.  Repeat Steps 4-8 and create another row. 

10.   Insert the pot into the center of the hanger. Stretch or adjust your knots accordingly. 

11.  To create the hanger, lace all the strands through the metal ring and tie a knot.
